Hello!  Can you believe it has been a year already?!  The Fabric Pixie opened its doors on 2/22/2022!!

I want to say a huge THANK YOU to all of you for supporting my local business.  It has been fun getting to know everyone and hopefully you enjoy your visits with me when you are in the shop.  A lot of new fabric has filled up the shelves and we have started classes and open sew days!

We have a CLASS coming up this Saturday February 11th starting at 9:30am.  This class is the Midi Bag by Quiltsmart and is a fun project to make.  Anna Boon has been doing a great job for me in testing out the patterns, creating the samples and has even offered to teach the classes when she is able.  There are 8 spots available for this class and it should take about 3-4 hours to complete.  The one requirement is that you come prepared with 2.5" squares already cut, so check out the website for more details and to reserve your spot!  (see pictures at the end of this email)

OPEN SEW in the afternoon on Saturday February 18th.  Have a project that you are working on and just need a change of scenery?  Are you and your friends looking for a space to gather and sew?  Just give me a call to let me know that you are coming, and I will make sure there is space at the tables in the back of the store for you to use!

There will also be a CLASS for the Beginning Quilter on Saturday February 25th starting at 9:00am.  This class is to introduce some quilting basics to those of you that may have thought about trying to put something together but didn't know where to start.  Additional details are on the website and you can sign up there as well.  Since this will be a bit more one-on-one, there are only 4 spots available.


For my anniversary month of February, there will be sales and some awesome giveaways so make sure to stop in!

I also want to give you a heads up for a couple of store closure dates.  The Fabric Pixie will be closed on Monday February 20th for President's Day.  The store will also be closed Thursday March 24th through Tuesday March 28th for vacation.  I am really looking forward to participating in quilt shows again this summer, so I will be sure to share that information as we get closer.
