Hello Everyone!

How is it already February 10^th?!  I have been trying to sit down and send out a newsletter since the first of the month!  February marks another year for The Fabric Pixie – serving all your quilting needs in Plains Montana for TWO YEARS.  I have been able to make so many new friends in the shop, at quilt shows, and also at quilt retreats.  I truly love visiting with you all.  For the rest of the month, you will receive a 10% discount on your entire purchase - just use code ANNIV10 at checkout if shopping online.  (This excludes gift certificates, retreats and classes).

Speaking of retreats….  Camp Stitch S’more will be held October 10^th-13^th at Glacier Presbyterian Camp near Lakeside MT.  I am finalizing the pricing and getting things set up in the computer to accept deposits or full payments.  More information to come in an email next week, so keep an eye out as space will be limited!

There are two classes happening over the next couple of Saturdays:

1. Double Slice 10” Square Quilt – Saturday February 17^th  9:30am-1:30pm
   • Amber Ayers, Instructor
   • Have you accumulated some 10” Square Packs or Moda Layer Cakes and just don’t know what to do with them?  Come join us for a fun class to put together a quick and easy quilt using one of your favorite packs.
   • Don’t have any 10” Square Packs?  Stop into The Fabric Pixie and check out the selection in the shop, many of which are on the 20% off sale table.
2. Mini Sachet – Saturday February 24^th  10:00am-Noon
   • Anna Boon, Instructor
   • Sew a quick little sachet to use as you choose.  Depending on the filling you use, it could even function as a pincushion.  Another option is to fill it with lavender from Wild Horse Lavender to use in your dresser drawer.  All materials for this class, including the lavender, are provided.

This month there are many fabrics that have moved to the 20%, 30%, or 50% shelves as I make room for the new fabrics coming in.  Make sure to check out the sales when you visit or are shopping online!  As far as new things, I just received the new collection from Northcott called Cedarcrest Falls (as usual it looks as stunning as their previous collections), as well as some of the Stallion panels and a few coordinating bolts.  Also new to the shop from Moda are Love Struck, Etchings, Ponderosa, and Woodland Flowers.  Looking for new fabrics for children’s quilts?  The Fabric Pixie just received Love and Learning from Hoffman and Count On Me from Windham.
